Bridge to UK Care Worker Visa

The aging UK population, the health worker shortage, BREXIT, and the COVID-19 pandemic have worked together to engender a massive need for health workers in the UK. In response to this crisis, the UK Parliament voted in December 2021 to include Care workers, care assistants and home care workers in the shortage occupations list. This means that even without a healthcare background, you can now travel to the UK with a health and care worker visa, if you secure a care job from a licensed sponsor.

1. Quebec is a hot destination for nurses who are looking to settle in Canada and who are comfortable with the French language. Since most people are seeking to work and live in English speaking countries or Provinces as a result of language barrier, those who are able to speak French or are willing to learn French have an edge when it comes to Quebec. 

Recently, the government of Quebec even started running a special annual events aimed at recruiting nurses from Cameroon, Mauritius, Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco. 

Our Quebec Nursing Bridging Program is designed to facilitate the following processes for eligible nurses:  

1. Comparative Evaluation of studies effected outside Quebec 
2. Admission by Equivalence into the Quebec Nursing Order, 
3. Certificate of Registration for the Quebec Professional Integration Program,
4. Registration with the network of Quebec hospitals that are recruiting international nurses in to the Quebec Nursing Integration Programme.

SRN, HND, HPD, BNS, or BSc or international equivalents. 

There is no language test required at the initial stage of the program. If selected by a placement hospital, you will have up to 2 years to work in Quebec with a temporary nursing permit while preparing for your French language test and your final nursing licensure exam.

 The Canadian Temporary Foreign Worker Program is a scheme that grants employer-specific work permits to people who have received employment offers from Canadian employers that have obtained the permission to hire from abroad. The government grants permission to employers to hire skills from abroad either because there is a national shortage of skills in that domain or because the employer has proven that they could not find local labor to fill the vacancy. There are currently over 3000 vacancies in this category, with hundreds being added each day as old ones get taken up.  Salaries range anywhere from $15 an hour to $40 an hour depending on the skill level.

This program is different from the Express Entry Immigration Program. Once you have a job offer, you are able to apply for your work visa immediately and enter Canada within two weeks to a few months depending on the visa processing times for your country.   

The government explicitly states that although you need an employer-specific work permit to enter Canada under this program, you are free to change employers any time you want. It is illegal for an employer to hold you down if you choose to move. The only condition is that each time you secure a new job, you must apply for a new work permit. 

You can join this program with any academic background. Many technical jobs do not require any academic qualification, so you can enroll with your First School Leaving Certificate, GCE Ordinary Level, GCE Advanced Level, Vocational Diploma, Higher National Diploma, or University Degree. When we receive your credentials, we will advise on which opportunities best match your profile. 

In terms of experience, many employers state that no experience is required for their jobs, since they offer on-the-job training. 

You must be fluent in English, but you do not require any English test. If the position is in the Province of Quebec, then you may need to be fluent in French as well.

Famously known as the 'Einstein Visa", the little-known  Extraordinary Abilities Green card is a prestigious First Preference work visa that is not tied to a job offer. It is aimed at attracting people of extraordinary ability to live and work in the USA. Since it is not tied to a job offer, you do not need an employer to apply for you. You can apply on your own from any country. There are 10 Qualifying Criteria of which you need to meet just 3 in order to be eligible. It takes a few months for you to receive a response, but there is the option to pay for a two-weeks expedited processing. 

If you are a person of Extraordinary Ability, such as an accomplished university lecturer or researcher with a Ph.D., you may consider the advantages of obtaining a US Green card that will enable you to shuttle between your home institution and the USA where you could choose to work either full -time or part-time in the same capacity. This is a fascinating approach to leveraging the resources and partnerships that the USA could offer to facilitate your career growth and your global impact.

This fee covers our  Eligibility Screening, Consultancy service, and immigration attorney charges only.  You should be ready to handle the filing fee with the US government as well as visa and travel cost if successful.  We collect fees only if we determine through our Eligibility Screening that you are an excellent candidate with a high success  change.
